Why Reflecting on Summer Together Is One of the Most Connecting Things You Can Do With Your Kids8/25/2026 Before the school year swoops in and takes over completely — before the early mornings and the packed lunches and the permission slips find their way back into your life — I want to give you one simple, beautiful thing to do with your kids this week.
Reflect on your summer together. Not with a formal sit-down or a structured activity. Just a conversation. A few good questions. And the willingness to laugh, remember, and be present together one more time before the season changes. This is the final post in our August series on making the most of the end of summer and transitioning well into the school year. And I saved this one for last because I think it might be the most meaningful of all.
